What is the best way to travel to the chalets?
When staying with Ski Cuisine you will need to make your own travel arrangements. We can however recommend various airlines, train services & airport transfer companies. Once you have paid your final balance you will be sent a pre- arrival pack with directions to the chalet & general information.
What time can we arrive at the chalet and what time must we vacate?
Your chalet will be ready to welcome you from 4pm on your arrival date. If you are arriving earlier we can store your luggage until you check into your chalet, please ensure that let us know in advance. You will need to vacate the chalet by 10am on your departure day. We request that the chalet is vacant between 10am-4pm so that the chalet staff can prepare for the new guests. It is possible that incoming and outgoing guests may overlap for part of the day, in order for us to offer the most flexible service to our guests.
Does Ski Cuisine provide a childcare service?
Ski Cuisine is very happy to work with Meribel Nanny Services who employ experienced nannies. They are professional and creative and your children can look forward to activities indoors and out, such as snowman building, sledging, arts & crafts and storytelling.
What time will the children have their early evening meal?
This will be served at about 6pm, leaving you to enjoy your dinner later in the evening.
If you require your children to have an earlier meal ( before 5.30pm) please speak to the chef and they can arrange for a meal to be left for you to heat up for the children.
Where do the chalet staff live?
Chalet staff have their own separate accommodation, giving our guests their privacy. Your hosts will provide house keeping, hosting and prepare and serve meals and drinks for you in your chalet.
What happens on the chalet staff’s day off?
Your chalet staff will provide a housekeeping and hosting service every day, except for on their one full day off on a Wednesday and a Friday morning when they have a half day off. On those mornings a continental breakfast and afternoon tea will be left for you to help yourselves. (applies to all chalets except Chalet Carcajou which has staff on duty and breakfast service each morning) No dinner is served in any of the Ski Cuisine chalets on a Wednesday and Meribel has a wide selection of restaurants which our chalet staff will be happy to recommend and book on your behalf for that evening.
Is there TV/DVD and WiFi provided?
All these facilities are available, as well as a Bluetooth speaker in each chalet. Please see individual chalet details/ At a glance section for each chalets facilities.
